Bible Study & Prayer Meeting
“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”
Romans 8:26
Wednesdays 8.00pm to 9.30pm
As a fellowship of believers, we meet each Wednesday evening from 8.00pm to 9.30pm around God’s precious Word for our Bible study. Following the Bible study, we have a time of prayer, seeking the Lord’s face before the throne of Grace, where we bring our heart-felt burdens before the Lord. In 1 John 5 verses 14 and 15 we read:
“And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, he heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.” (1 John 5:14-15)
John encourages us to have confidence in God and seek to ask the His will be done. We are to rest assured in the full knowledge that God hears our prayers will answer according to His divine will.
